Website features for the visually impaired

Last update: August 2010

Our website has been designed on the basis of full inclusivity and we hope those with visual impairment will find it easy to navigate and use.

Where possible, web development best practices have been employed to ensure that the content may be accessed via non-traditional browsers, including screen readers and accessibility software. The site uses a Joomla open source content management system which is compatible with W3C standards (World Wide Web Consortium, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), representing universal best practice.

However, note that some information provided through the website is supplied by third parties and may not conform in entirety with the design features of the website itself.

New developments in accessibility techniques will be continually reviewed to ensure that, wherever possible, pages meet the requirements of our users. We will include the date of any amendment we make at the head of this document, so please continue to review these notes whenever accessing or using the website.

If you encounter any difficulties with using this website or if you have any comments or suggestions to make regarding accessibility please This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for assistance.
