The 2019 British Sign Awards – deadline for submitting entries extended to Friday 27 September
Once again we’re pleased to announce that the SDS will be judging entries in the wayfinding category of the 2019 British Sign Awards. This annual showcase celebrates the best of the best, from those working in the business of signs. Last year saw members CCD Design (National Maritime Museum, Greenwich) and Maynard (London Bridge Station) shortlisted, along with Placemarque for their Ireland Ancient East project. Sign in to the Talks Archive on the SDS website to see presentations on all three.
Entry to the awards is free, but restricted to UK based businesses (although the project can be overseas). To be eligible, the project needs to have been installed within the past year. As well as fulfilling the functional requirements and adhering to good practice in sign design, the judges will be looking for an innovative and/or creative approach that complements or enhances the environment.
All shortlisted entries will be invited to a gala lunch on 14th November, where the winners will be announced.
Full details on how to enter are available on the British Sign Awards website. The deadline for submission of entries has now been extended to Friday 27th September 2019.
